Evergruv was founded by a group of music lovers who wanted to create a space for people to come together and share their passion for music. We started with a small community and have grown into a thriving platform for music enthusiasts everywhere.

I have been playing in bands since 1980 and I am heavily influenced and inspired by lead singers like Steve Marriott, Roger Daltrey, Freddie Mercury, Paul Rogers, David Bowie, Rod Stewart and the typical Front Man performers of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s and always try to bring that level of showmanship and high energy. Originally hailing from England, I have played in bands semi professionally and briefly professionally, supporting recording acts and TV personalities as well as travelling around the UK playing Social and Working Men’s clubs, US and Royal Airforce bases and various other music venues. Since coming to the USA, I have continued to play actively on the Milwaukee live music scene. Whilst here I have been involved in many different types of music from Blues to Soul, Choral, Christian and Rock. It’s such a pleasure to play with the guys in Evergruv, the music is tight, thoughtful and not your typical everyday live music which challenges us to present it in a way that is pleasing, memorable and hopefully entertaining. I always look forward to meeting new people and making new friends through music and in closing I would just like to say see you at the show and cheers for now

With a career spanning over three decades, Kurt Weber has established himself as a versatile and dynamic drummer in the realms of blues, rock, and Americana. Influenced by the bedrock drumming of legends such as Charlie Watts, Chris Layton, and Steve Jordan, Kurt has honed his craft, bringing a unique blend of groove, power, and finesse to every performance. Kurt's musical journey began at an early age, fueled by a passion for rhythm and an unwavering love for music. Over the years, he has collaborated with a diverse array of artists across genres, including blues, rock, country, and rockabilly, showcasing his adaptability and deep understanding of various musical styles. His drumming is characterized by solid and supportive grooves, making him a sought-after musician in the industry.

My journey in the music industry has been a wild ride. It all started when I had the privilege of touring as a guitar tech for Axe, opening for legendary bands like KISS, Mötley Crüe, Judas Priest, and Cheap Trick. I vividly remember standing 20 feet away from Gene Simmons during one of KISS's iconic performances – an unforgettable experience.
After the thrill of the road, I settled in my hometown of Oconomowoc and took a chance on opening a live music club called Backstage. Over the course of six years, we hosted over 1000 events, bringing live music to the community and creating a buzz that wouldn't be silenced. Eventually, others caught on, and today, the area is thriving with live music, with 3-5 bands playing weekly.
In between, I spent 20 years managing a music retail store, applying the skills and knowledge I gained from the music industry to deliver exceptional customer experiences. I also worked as a road rep for US Music, promoting products and building relationships with customers.
Throughout my journey, I've had the opportunity to play bass in various bands, exploring classic rock and blues. And, to this day, I continue to tour with the Ultimate Legends band, performing for audiences across the US.
From the rush of stage lights to the camaraderie of the music community, my experiences have shaped me into the person I am today. I am proud to be a part of my newest project called EverGrüv.

Mike has been a student of Blues and Rock music for over 50 years. His guitar and vocal stylings are an amalgamation of many influential performers, past and present, that forged a lasting impression on his musical psyche. Legendary players like Freddie King, Albert Collins, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Billy Gibbons, Duane Allman, Dickie Betts, Robin Trower, and Brian Setzer are but a few of a long list of greats that have helped shape his approach to the instrument. While honing his guitar skills to a saber-like sharpness, Mike developed a vocal style that incorporates the soulfulness of the Blues and R&B with a Rock edge. When combined together, Mike brings energy and passion to the music he plays that simply must be heard to be appreciated.
As Mike put it, “Performing in EverGruv has really allowed me to attain even higher levels of musical excellence. Every member of the band is a journeyman performer in their own right. Being surrounded by players of this caliber pushes me to dig deeper as a musician, which ultimately results in exceptional performances by what has developed into a really smokin’ band. You have got to hear these guys!”

My long and winding musical journey has spanned nearly 50 years. From studio recording over the years, to playing with musicians from numerous backgrounds and genres. I’ve had the honor and pleasure to play with musicians from The Mahavishnu Orchestra, The Flock, Greg Allman Band, The Maudes and Dinosaur Exhibit, The Nightburners, Deja Blue and Petty Union. Three of which I was Charter Member… and many more that have come and gone through the years.
I have been fortunate to have the opportunities to play with so many talented musicians through the years. All of whom have contributed to my musical journey.
Now I have the unique opportunity to play with a group of very talented, seasoned musicians, in a culmination of all the notes I’ve played so far… We are EverGrüv.

I used to be a touring Nashville musician for a few years as well as played in other bands and studios across the North American continent as a professional recording & performing musician for the last 35 years. I know what to look for in a good band, and Evergruv has got it going on.
Brian and the boys are all seasoned musicians, who pick good songs to play and know how to work the crowd.I highly recommend to anyone that they check these guys out for a good time and good music. See you at the show!

On April 22, 2026, we went to listen to "some music" in Downtown Oconomowoc... Evergruv was playing @ 120 On Wisconsin. They are phenomenal, each member in his own right! I am a BIG Joe Cocker fan, and I have never heard anyone do him more justice than Mike! I HIGHLY recommend making the effort, taking the time, to see them perform, they are amazing!
